And if you’re an LA resident who has ever visited New Orleans, chances are the grand majority of what you loved about the trip can be found within the walls of this fine establishment.

The Redbury is one of the latest additions to SBE’s portfolio, but is a serious departure from the empire’s usual swanky endeavors. Not taking itself too seriously (yet), the hotel and its amenities play with an old school vibe adorned with vintage-y pieces, record players in the rooms and an inviting bright red color scheme.

At Osteria Mozza you’re in the hands of the experienced and the ingredient-neurotic, though it’s not until neuroticism presents itself on the art of cheese selection and pizza crust that it is gratefully tolerated.

Modest in size but certainly not shy (i.e. the pink exterior and plush interior), the Beverly Hills Hotel is, just, famous. There is a reason people take more pictures of the hotel’s iconic sign than of themselves in the bathroom mirror. With Hollywood and the rest of Los Angeles growing up around it, the hotel has retained a mature and classic mantra.
